The importance of trade and growth has been subject of emphasis for past several decades in developed, emerging and developing countries. It earned itself renewed interests in Africa in recent time, because of the crusade to liberate the continent from its limited trade relations and long slow growth. This has provided strong background for the development of this book to re-examine the trade path that could stimulate trade relationships among African countries and re-alignment of growth strategies to boost the slow growth experienced in the past decades. The book is crystallized into three main sections and constructive conclusion. The first section discusses trade theories and application to African countries. This is followed by fundamental trade policies that require fewer resources to be domesticated and the third section provides several growth models that could be immediately implemented in African countries to attain improved economic growth.
