Autorenporträt
Salguero is a interdisciplinary scholar specializing in the history of Buddhist medicine. Salguero teaches East Asian History, Chinese Religion & Philosophy, Buddhism, and History of Medicine at Penn State's Abington College. Salguero has a Ph.D. in History of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University and an M.A. in East Asian Studies from University of Virginia. Salguero is also a practitioner and teacher of Traditional Thai Medicine, the author of many books for TTM clinicians, and has long been active in the introduction of Thai healing traditions to the U.S.
