We're created for a purpose. One that makes Christ known and brings Him glory upon the earth. Deep down, we know what we're called to do. We may not tap into it because it's uncommon, or we may try it and experience frustrations and wonder if we were really made to do it. We settle for second best instead of God's best because we can't figure out why or how to push through. The message being preached through social media seems to be one that says, "Things happen overnight." The frustration we experience tells us that if we're not overnight successes, we're in the wrong place. But how do we deal with the emotions we feel as we journey through life? How do we do what we're supposed to do when it seems like there's not a blueprint or there's too many blueprints? How do we push past settling and pursue what God has called us to do with passion and purpose? Abraham was called to set out for a place that God would reveal to him. It wasn't given to him immediately, he had to be obedient and step out. Along the way, he experienced various tests that taught him lessons and deepened his faith. He was told he'd be the father of many nations. As we know, it didn't happen as soon as he thought it would. Oftentimes, it's the same with us. We know in our heads what we're called to do, and we set out to do it. We experience hardships, pushbacks, frustrations, and more. So what gives? What is going on? How do we handle it? In Training Ground: From Anointing to Appointing, I come alongside you and walk you through the process that peels back motives and exposes authenticity. We'll walk through what this journey consists of and how to get through it. At the end of the book, you'll walk away with a deeper understanding of the work God is doing in your life, a greater faith, and encouragement to continue in obedience.
