This study focuses on the training of French-language teachers in Algeria, with particular reference to junior cycle teachers. Teacher training was examined from the angle of continuity or rupture between in-service training and initial training, in the context of the reform of the Algerian education system.Two training institutions were chosen: the University of Blida2 and the ENS of Bouzaréah- Algiers. A comparative approach highlighted the similarities and differences in the type of training provided at these two institutions.

Nach meinem Abschluss in Maschinenbau mit dem Schwerpunkt industrielle Wartung und nachdem ich mehrere Berufe ausgeübt hatte, habe ich mich auf das Unterrichten von FLE umgestellt, indem ich einen Master in FLE-Didaktik erwarb und 2015 in den FLE-Unterricht an der Mittelschule einstieg, und mit der Zeit wuchs in mir der Wunsch zu forschen, woraus dieses Buch entstand.
