Youths unemployment is now a global phenomenon. Attempts at reducing this social problem have led to the introduction of skills aquisition in various countries of the world. In Nigeria, Fishery was introduced into secondary school curriculum as a module of empowering youths to take to fishery occupation on graduation. Pedagogy of Fishery requires the teacher to be vast in the skills of fishery. Assessment of the knowledge levels of fishery teachers in secondary schools in Edo and Delta states for the success of the trade curriculum in Nigeria underscore this text.
