Gurulev V.L. is a reserve colonel, senior engineer at Astana IT University, Astana, Kazakhstan. He was born and grew up in Zhambyl region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 1995 to 2021 served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Pensioner. Continues to be engaged in military-patriotic education of youth, writes articles in military-scientific magazines. Married, two sons.
