Sie hat einen Abschluss in Französisch und Portugiesisch und ist wissenschaftliches Mitglied der Gruppe GE-SER - Lab.de Pesquisa, Estudos e Extensão em gêneros, Sexualidades e Raça em Educação e Direitos humanos an der UFRJ, mit Schwerpunkt auf Gender und Literatur von Trans-Autoren. Sie unterrichtet Portugiesisch und Französisch und erstellt Materialien für Lehrbücher für das Bildungswesen.
