In this book we have discussed the updated definitions of hemoptysis with recent classification of hemoptysis degrees, also we had focused on the main causes of hemoptysis facing general practitioners and pulmonologists , and also how to investigate a case of hemoptysis. Also, we had a review on the pulmonary vascular anatomy giving a detailed summary on bronchial circulation, and then the management of hemoptysis either medical, surgical or interventional techniques either through fiber optic bronchoscope or transcatheter embolization, with focus on bronchial artery embolization technique starting with its indications, embolic materials that are used, the technique and its possible complications. Ending with a short review on pulmonary artery vascular embolization various techniques and different embolic agents that can be used.
