The topic of Environmental Research is now common in the syllabus of nearly all the subjects, taught in Universities and Colleges presently; irrespective of being Literature, Medicine, Law, Humanities, Mathematics or Commerce. This book is a unique experiment, in which an effort has been made to open a vista of Trans-disciplinary Research, being conducted in different subjects in the frame of Environmental Sciences. If we think of the initial periods of the evolution in Academics, we record that the father of Philosophy is also considered as the father of Botany; likewise, the man of Statistics was the father of Genetics. In due course of time when the thrust area narrowed, the disciplinary barriers developed, where studies were performed in isolation. After suffocation in small cells the need of interdisciplinary research was realized, which was fruitful. Now the trans-disciplinary research is needed; particularly in the field of Environmental Sciences. Only the overlapping of output of researches in different streams can solve the problems of Environmental Crises and can establish a correlation between "Ecology and Economics". I am sure this book would be a torch for the readers.
