Produktbeschreibung
This volume offers insights into current and fundamental theoretical knowledge and systematically presents the results of comprehensive empirical studies. From different perspectives the authors develop solid practice-related concepts for securing learning transfer. This book makes an important contribution to the further development of international learning transfer research and learning transfer practice. In this book, internationally respected scholars from the disciplines of educational science, management science and psychology thoroughly discuss practice-related questions on learning transfer in organizations. The focus is thereby placed on theory and practice, not only on the securing of learning transfer but also on learning transfer evaluation.

A large-scale empirical study of learning transfer carried out in Germany supports the thesis that fundamental processes and structures in personal development must be changed in order to secure learning transfer in companies and to be able to evaluate lasting learning results.

Starting from current and topical theoretical and empirical findings that were obtained in international studies, theoretical models are developed for securing learning transfer and for learning transfer evaluation. These models are of high relevance for practice and in addition offer fruitful possible starting points for research projects. The acquired theoretical knowledge is closely linked with the empirical studies.
In this book, internationally respected scholars from the disciplines of educational science, business administration and psychology thoroughly discuss practice-related questions on learning transfer in organizations. Readers will learn solid concepts for securing and evaluating learning transfer.
This volume offers new insights about learning transfer in organizations and their implications for both research and practice. It examines the actual state in practice and provides the foundation for improvements in the design and evaluation of further training measures that are conducive to the transfer of learning.
In addition, coverage details theoretical models on learning transfer in further vocational training and develops concepts that enable the transfer of learning for further training in organizations. The book also evaluates further training measures on different levels on the basis of relevant criteria.
