Trina Nichelle Moore currently serves as the Director of Ministries and Minister of Christian Education at United Christian Fellowship Church International (UCFCI), Salisbury, NC, under the leadership of Pastor Sonya T. Ellerbe. Her education accolades include a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Livingstone College, Salisbury, NC, and a Master of School Administration Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte, NC. While serving as Minister of Christian Education, her other responsibilities include music ministry, community outreach efforts and the development of new ministry opportunities discovered both in the church and community. Trina has 10 years of teaching experience as a choral music teacher in Rowan-Salisbury Schools and Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools. As choral director at Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School (MLK) in Charlotte, NC, she composed the song entitled "Purpose". This inspirational song became MLK's official school song in the spring of 2011. Along with local radio support and Internet radio air-play, the single was heard in the US and 37 international countries. Further support was garnered on local TV-WCNC Channel 36 with a feature on the evening news and a performance on the morning talk show, Charlotte Today. The school song continues to be played every school day. As Minister of Christian Education, Trina trains those called to the equipping office of the Teaching Ministry. She also develops curriculum to address the specific spiritual needs of (UCFCI). Trina's first published work is entitled, Be Like Jesus Scriptures for Transformation. It is a collection of scriptures outlined to the lyrics of the song "Be Like Jesus". Her second debut single, "Be Like Jesus", was released in 2013. This upbeat, contemporary single is rich with soulful ad libs and eloquent phrases that highlight the incredible experience of newness and wholeness that are only available through salvation in Jesus Christ. This eight chapter book also includes scriptures on topics such as salvation, healing, strength, and much more. Trina's second published work, Transformation, explains in detail the foundational principals of Christianity such as salvation, maintaining salvation, and repentance. It is a must read for new Christians, recommitted Christians, and seasoned Christians. United Christian Fellowship Church International (www.ucfci.org) has adopted Transformation as the official curriculum for all Christian Living classes. Both books are published by Degel Publishing, independently owned by Trina. The Biblical principle found in Matthew 22:37 (NKJV) serves as the motivating foundation for Trina in life and ministry. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." This Biblical command birthed Trina's purpose for music ministry. That purpose is to give God all the glory, unite and reunite souls with Christ and encourage the Body of Christ. Trina is pursing an educational doctoral degree from the University of Southern California in Organizational Change and Leadership . She currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
