India is force to reckon with, in the global Telecommunications market. The Indian Telecom Service Providers are on one hand, looking for additional revenue streams by venturing into new markets and on the other hand trying to manage their operational cost, speed of growth and the ability to meet market challenges. Multiple Indian Telecom players have leveraged outsourcing as a transformational strategy. They have systematically moved away from traditional outsourcing relationships towards business enablement and business value realization. This book investigates, over a 15 year time period (3 time slices), the underlying gaps between the outsourcers' and the outsourcees' expectations of transformational outsourcing partnership. It also attempts to address some of the issues in the adoption of transformational outsourcing. Dynamic Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM) and Statistical analysis (t-test, paired t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation and Stepwise Regression), bring out interesting observations for the academicians, business stake holders and policy makers.
