The world at the beginning of the 21st century is fundamentally different from what it was only 50 years ago - or so it seems. In the political realm, scholars identify deep changes in organization. What are the new institutions and qualities of political order? Debates on this question have focused on two concepts in particular: globalization and global governance. Using these concepts as entrance points, therefore, the contributors to this volume explore theory and practice of political organization in a transformed/ing world with the aim of shaping the post-globalization discussion.
