The ancient philosophical concept of Dharma, the role of the King as Ruler of the ruled in the discharge of his duties for the common good of the citizenry has been elaborately presented. Also, compared different approaches in restorative justice practices that are being practiced by different countries all over the globe for a better understanding of the subject under study.

The author is a former Judge of the High Court of Telangana, India presently holding the post of Judge, Judicial Preview, GoAP, India. He has an LL.D (Post Doctoral Fellow) from Chanakya National Law University, Patna, India, Ph.D. in Law from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, India, LL.M & M.Com. Authored several books and articles.
