Bernie O'Leary has had an amazing and awe-inspiring journey, over the last 10 years, running Alpha in Western Australian Prisons.The Lord specifically led him into this ministry, after a 42 year career as a Civil and Water Engineer, with nothing to do with Prisons in his life!Bernie is the Alpha Prisons Ambassador - Western Australia, with Alpha Australia.He has seen about 540 prisoners doing Alpha in WA, so far (at 2024), and seen many prisoners coming to the Lord, and being transformed.This book has also shown the results of some overseas initiatives, in major focuses on spiritual transformation and rehabilitation, rather than only a custodial focus. These have shown huge reductions in number of prisoners, and recidivism rates.He has said that this whole journey continues to be an incredible adventure, with huge eternal impacts!
