Kristyan Spelman Miller, University of Liverpool, is Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor Education and a National Teaching Fellow. Since her PhD in 2000 she has written on written text production, with particular reference to second language writing. Marie Stevenson is a senior lecturer at the School of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney. She has published widely in the field of literacy, including writing processes, academic literacy, digital literacy, and discourse analysis of writers' texts.
