Autorenporträt
Linda Frazer, BCL, DDN, LLM, LLD is a practising notary with thirty-eight years' experience in professional negotiations and contracts. She holds a PhD in the law of negotiations and is a member of CNQ, the Chambre des notaires du Québec. As a young notary from a initially non-legal background, Frazer found herself astounded by the number of business and property transactions taking place without any basis in legal advice. Finding current contract law woefully out of date with the present and dynamic reality of how contracts are made, Frazer returned to school to pursue a PhD. Her doctoral thesis, focused on bridging this gap, would become the starting point for this, her first book. Outside of writing, Frazer enjoys music, cooking, fine arts, reading and story-writing, Qi Gong (at which she is a master), hikes with her husband, swimming, and playing with her bordoodle, to name a few. During the week, she, her husband, and their dog live in the city, next door to their two sons; on weekends, they live in the country, kitty corner to their daughter, her husband, and their four children.
