Xiao Weiqing is a professor of translation studies at Shanghai International Studies University China She gained an MA and a PhD in English Language and Literature in 2002 and 2006 respectively In 2012 she was appointed to a full professorship As a researcher she is interested in literary translation audiovisual translation and translation teaching she has published extensively in these areas
