Autorenporträt
Stephen Davies is an honorary research fellow at the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction, University of Hong Kong. He previously served as an officer in Her Majesty's senior service and in the Royal Marines and was the first director of the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, which he headed for seven years. He has written more than 1,600 articles and several books, most of them dedicated to historical and maritime topics.
