Trauma counsellor, relationship expert, and author Norm Quantz draws from decades of professional work with thousands of struggling people, time served as a first responder, as well as his own personal trauma recovery successes to make available his insightful, innovative, and timely work on recovering from emotional trauma. Norm earned his Master of Arts Degree in Counselling in 1989. In addition to decades of a private counselling practice, Norm established counselling services in 12 Elementary Schools for the Hanover School Division in Manitoba, was the founding CEO of The Caring Place in Regina, Saskatchewan, served as Adjunct Professor in Counselling Practicum, taught seminars across Western Canada for those traumatized by the abusive use of power and control, and is currently a sought-after trauma recovery specialist working onsite and online. Norm is a full member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and lives near Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his long time partner and friend Neva (Larson) Quantz. They have two daughters and four grandchildren and relax most around family and friends in table games, travel, and golfing.
