Sheila Vasquez is a South Florida self-published author. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Rhode Island, she fondly remembers that living in New England included playing in the snow. She wrote "Play Outside, Let's Go!" to share her love for snow with her daughter and co-author, Jazara Jones, also known as Zar. She also wrote "Travel to Grow" to share her love for traveling with her daughter. Most importantly, her desire is that young readers are presented with an introductory concept of traveling and the many places they could go.
