Jacob Salpeter Buckley is currently ten years old, having just finished fourth grade. He wrote this book, completely on his own, over the course of one year. An avid reader and storyteller, Jacob lives in Woodside, California and has varied interests that include playing with his friends, practicing and competing as a gymnast, traveling to exotic lands, and taking walks with his dog, Big Chief Jolly. He plans to be a writer when he grows up, and also wants to be an attorney, a physician, a chemist, an aroma therapist, and a philosopher. He plans to make this book the first of a trilogy. One of his life's goals is to have it read by someone that he does not know.
