Realizing the fact that the Shepherd desires an intimate relationship with us and then responding to that is the only source of complete joy and peace. The hands of the Shepherd, that we all have scarred, will always pick us up when we deserve it the least and need it the most. God was showing me His presence for many years, but I was not aware of it. My eyes were focused on me and what I was doing. When I became desperate for Him, my life completely changed, and I actually expect something remarkable to happen each and every day. I jokingly tell others that I am God's favorite. Even though I understand that we all are His favorites, I believe that He personally desires for us to crave that personal attention. One thing I often say is, "Jesus is all up in my business, and I like it like that". He delights in adding abundant treasures and unique touches to our daily walk, and He has proved to me that the more we gather and share the sparkle, the more we receive. That's a promise!
