Conventional complete dentures are often the initial treatment for edentulism but come with complications such as denture stomatitis, ulcers, altered taste, and burning mouth syndrome. These issues, combined with unmet psychological and social needs, lead patients to seek alternatives like dental implants. Dental implants, including techniques like All-on-4, All-on-6, zygomatic implants, and patient-specific implants, offer improved outcomes and meet individualized needs. The All-on-4 concept uses four implants, two tilted posteriorly and two vertical in the anterior region, to avoid bone augmentation in cases with minimal bone volume. The All-on-6 concept has evolved to provide better anchorage and support. Zygomatic implants are effective for atrophic and resorbed ridges and maxillectomy cases. Patient-specific implants, created through digital planning and laser techniques, address bone deficiencies that prevent conventional implant placement. The review focuses on various fixedimplant-supported treatment options for completely edentulous patients, aiming to enhance their overall quality of life.
