Treatment of Collocation: Problems and Solutions -This work is concerned with the notion of collocation in English, and problems faced by foreign learners of English (English majors in particular) and suitable solutions for such problems. -It attempts to provide a comprehensive coverage of collocation from two perspectives: lexical and grammatical. -The book is divided into seven chapters: -Chapter One is an introduction. -Chapter Two introduces the notion in English including characteristics of collocation, collocation and meaning, collocational restrictions and collocational categories. -Chapter Three is a review of related literature. -Chapter Four deals with the first tool of data collection (the test) -Chapter Five deals with the second tool of data collection (the questionnaire) -Chapter Six is concerned with the teaching of collocation. -Chapter Seven presents the relevant findings, conclusions, suggestions and recommendations.
