Engineered wetland is an applied model for wastewater treatment. It simulates the reality and it depends on many parameters; some of these are temperature, plant type, water depth, and plant coverage. These parameters are subject to the K-C , and P-K-C models. Engineered wetland is an applied model for wastewater treatment. It simulates the reality and it depends on many parameters; some of these are temperature, plant type, water depth, and plant coverage. These parameters are subject to the K-C , and P-K-C models. This book will present this technique for purifying the income water from Marriott Lake to El-Max Research Station in order to reduce the pollution and use the effluent water for irrigation and fish farming purposes. Two types of plants are used (Water lettuce and Water hyacinth) at different levels of water depth and plant coverage; daily measurements were taken to obtain the optimum removal rate of ''Ammonia, Total nitrogen, Total phosphorus, and Biological oxygen demand'' to determine the water quality. Some comparisons were given to support our hypothesis.
