Andrew McCluggage is an outdoor writer/photographer. He is from Northern Ireland and has been a keen mountain walker all his life. He has been long-distance trekking for almost three decades. He has trekked extensively around the globe and this is his 16th guidebook. He has also written books on the Tour du Mont Blanc, the West Highland Way, The Dolomites AV1, Hadrian's Wall Path, the Walker's Haute Route and the Cotswold Way. He was a corporate lawyer for 20 years and was a partner at an international law firm. In 2018 he stopped being a lawyer to start Knife Edge Outdoor Guidebooks.
