1,2,4-Triazines and their derivatives have been widely studied in terms of their synthetic methodologies and reactivity, since some of these derivatives were reported to have promising biological activities as muscle relaxant, hypoglycemic, blood pressure depressant, anti-diabetic properties, anti-tumor, anti-bacterial, hormone antagonists, anti-leukemic, anti-inflammatory, neuro protective, antimalarial, anticancer, antifungal, anticonvulsant, antibacterial, antiviral, herbicidal, sea water algicidal, fungicidal, insecticidal and pesticidals. The work has been a continuation of our work from the series of nine books as Pyrimidines, Quinazolines, Pyrimidines fused with heterocyclic rings, Novel Pyrazoles part I, Novel Pyrazoles part II and Triazolo Pyrimidines, Thiazolo pyrimidines , Triazolo Quinazolines and Thiadiazines. The present book entitled "Triazines: Synthesis and Biological Prediction Study" includes a brief survey of the literature taken for medicinal Significance, Synthetic Approaches and Applications of triazines and the Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Prediction Study of 3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5-one Derivatives.
