"Harnessing Trichoderma and Chitinases for Sustainable Plant Disease Management" represents a promising approach to mitigating plant diseases while promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural practices. Ongoing research aims to refine these strategies and make them more accessible to farmers worldwide. "Sustainable Plant Disease Management" refers to a topic in agricultural and environmental science that explores the potential of using Trichoderma, a group of beneficial fungi, and chitinases, enzymes that break down chitin, for the sustainable management of plant diseases. This topic explores using Trichoderma fungi and chitinase enzymes for eco-friendly and sustainable management of plant diseases. Trichoderma fungi act as biocontrol agents, while chitinases break down pathogenic organisms' structures, enhancing plant health and reducing the need for chemical interventions.
