Autorenporträt
R.C. Hartson began his writing in 1967 when he attended Columbia College in Chicago. Three years later he was in the business sector working for Gulf Oil Corporation. He didn't take up his writing again until 1994 when he met his wife, Lynie. She encouraged his to follow his path as a writer. The winner of numerous awards for his short stories and poetry among those, a poem Shadows of Iwo Jima was published by the Marines in their Leatherneck magazine in 2003. His other novels are Detective/Crime genre featuring protagonist, private detective Cleve Hawkins. Fatal Beauty was released in 2015 and Triple Crossed followed in 2016. A third novel, a family saga titled Falling Up the Stairs was released in 2017. A retired U.S. Marine, R.C. is married, with five children and eight grandchildren and lives with his beautiful wife, Lynie, in gorgeous Western Michigan.
