SUSAN FIRESTONE HAHN is a poet and playwright and has been the editor of TriQuarterly magazine since 1997. She has published four books of poetry, most recently Holiday (University of Chicago Press, 2001) and is the recipient of numerous awards for poetry including The Society for Midland Authors Award, The George Kent Prize from Poetry magazine and many Illinois Arts Council Awards. Hahn's forthcoming book of poetry, Mother in Summer, will be published by Northwestern University Press this season. Hahn lives in Winnetka, Illinois.
