Autorenporträt
After admiring them for years, Howard Baugues bought his first Spitfire in 2000; a 1976 1500. Within a year he had added a 1977 1500, a 1968 GT6 Mk1, and a 1979 TR7 DHC to his collection. He repairs and maintains these cars himself. Since 2004, Howard has been the editor of Spitfire & GT6 Magazine, a quarterly publication featuring not only the Spitfire & GT6 models, but also highlighting other smaller Triumphs, such as the Herald and Vitesse. Prior to this, Howard was the newsletter editor and four-year president of the North American Spitfire Squadron, a US-based, worldwide club for enthusiasts of the Spitfire family of Triumphs.
