She also participated in the redaction and edition of the Briefwisseling (correspondance) of Hugo Grotius (RGP, The Hague 1985-2001). Hilde de Ridder-Symoens, Ph.D. (1969), Ghent University, collaborator of the Premier Livre des procurateurs de la nation germanique de l'Université d'Orléans (Brill 1971), em. professor in medieval and early modern history at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Ghent Universiteit. She has published on university history and schooling in Europe and the Low Countries. Chris L. Heesakkers, Ph.D. (1976), Leiden University, em. professor of neo-Latin language and literature. Collaborator of the Deuxième Livre des procurateurs de la nation germanique de l'Université d'Orléans (Brill 1988). He has published monographs, editions, translations and many articles on Dutch humanists and academics.
