Autorenporträt
The author is a retired Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington, recipient of many honors for his research, especially his studies of clouds and storms in the tropics. He is an Honorary Member of the American Meteorological Society and Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society.
