When I looked at the information it was obvious that some streams were more productive than others. And, some streams were reporting bigger trout. Gradually, over the next ten years, from 1975 to 1985, I added information to my listing which included the water temperature, weather conditions, the exact time I caught the trout, and the lure I was using. I also recorded the place where I caught each trout that was 17, or more, inches long. So, over the years I had a lot of scientific data on where and when to fish trout. Each book that I have written about trout fishing is more detail than the last. I fish trout 45 to 50 times each season so I have a lot of data to provide you with the science of trout fishing.
