Studying art over the past five decades has led An Cantor, a multi-faceted artist, to many innovative techniques. The unique one-of-a-kind pieces created by An have a life of their own. An also designs and fabricates incredible jewelry, "L'Objects Des Arts," stained glass, illustrations, calligraphy, graphic design, costumes, and sculptures. Creating each piece is a collaboration of material, higher spirit, and artist. The materials and ideas speak to An and seem to arrange and design themselves. An feels that she is just a tool in the process. Several of her pieces have won awards in competitions and exhibitions. Her education in NYC includes The Art Students League, Parsons School of Design, School of Visual Arts and the Fashion Institute of Technology. To have a creative idea and bring it to fruition is her life breath as an artist.
