This is Alyssa Hall's fourth novel. Alyssa writes from the heart and has keen insight into the things that influence and motivate people, and about the human spirit. Her love of England inspired her to write this story, and she had already envisioned her fourth novel, Hero of Blackpool, before ever visiting the seaside town. Her eventual journey to the area helped her to finish the story with credibility and accuracy. Her other books include Wanting Aidan (2021), Trusting Claire (2020), and Romero Pools (2022). Alyssa lives in Langley, British Columbia, with her husband, David. Along with writing, Alyssa enjoys travelling and spending winters with her husband in Tucson Arizona, where she can get lost in her thoughts hiking in the desert.
