Sashe Omogiate is the epitome of Black Girl Magic, making it her mission to equip others with the tips and tools they need to walk boldly and confidently in their truth. As a former exotic dancer turned author, philanthropist and producer Sashe know's firsthand how someone's voice can be silenced by their dark secrets, forcing them to live a life that wasn't intended. It wasn't until she stopped denying her bouts with "the silent killer," (depression) as well as denying being a victim of a sexual assault. Sashe was then able to use those circumstances as a gateway to find her voice. Sashe know hardship first hand being raised by a single mother, and seeing close relatives suffer the consequences of crack cocaine addiction and living to overcome their situation, inspired her to pen her first book, "Truth Is".She has made it her life's mission to give back to others along her journey.Thus, she created the Imani Foundation a 501 c (3) Non-Profit faith based organization that serves as an outreach for the community. Imani Within focuses on educating the community on preventative habits that promote good health, as well as helping people with life coping skills.
