Gail Pearce teaches contemporary media art at Royal Holloway, University of London, United Kingdom. Cahal McLaughlin is senior lecturer in the School of Media, Film, and Journalism at the University of Ulster, United Kingdom. A documentary filmmaker with twenty years of experience, he is director of the Prisons Memory Archive of recordings in Northern Ireland.
