Autorenporträt
Born in Pennsylvania and now living there with her two children, Stephanie Shaffer spends her nights working in a metal shop and her days crafting stunning heartfelt poetry. She first began writing when she was twelve years old, and during her time in high school she entered a multitude of poetry contests through Iliad Press and Famous Poets, even publishing five of her poems. She won an award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry by the International Society of Poets. Stephanie's creativity extends past words on paper, to charcoal paintings and pencil drawings. Yet, she's known since she was young that poetry is what she was meant to do. She enjoys writing about real-life scenarios-or just anything that pops into her head! Truths to be Spoken is her first published poetry collection, and she hopes to continue independently publishing in the future.
