Robert Sikkenga holds a Master of Arts degree in literature and has published fiction and poetry. His recent fiction includes Tulips and the Pale Horse, a story of love, lust, poverty, abuse, triumph and death set in nineteenth-century Netherlands. Sikkenga is a retired educator.
