The Cell Broadband Engine is one of the most important processor architectures for parallel computing. It can be found in gaming consoles such as the Sony Playstation 3, but also in supercomputers, such as the "Roadrunner". The tuple space concept can be seen as a counterpart to the Cell's hardware architecture in the domain of software. Due to its simple but sophisticated principle of operation, it has been the basis of numerous scientific research papers and software implementations. This book outlines a possible integration scenario of both. The techniques, prerequisites and software methods to reach this goal are discussed, and the performance of example programs is evaluated. In addition "Linda MOC", our solution, is compared to similar systems.
