Dr Abdus Samad has obtained his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 from Inha University, S. Korea. He worked at the University of Aberdeen for two years. He is presently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Ocean Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. He is a Chartered Engineer.
