Rev Dr Jeff Williams, the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church (LCMS), Slayton, Minnesota, has been writing these devotions for two years. Before accepting the call to serve this congregation, he served congregations in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Kansas. Dr Williams has a PhD in Education, granted by Kansas State University in 2005. In addition to the "Moments of Meditation" devotions, he has written a beginning textbook for computer science, numerous articles for the Civil Air Patrol Chaplain Corps, and has presented several papers on using Linux in educational settings.
