The author also attended Windermere high school after which he studied and received a degree in electronics engineering in Buffalo New York. He also attended studies for two years at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. It is to say the least to say that Mr. Major loves his island of Eleuthera. He has dedicated most of his literary skills promoting and exposing the beautiful Tropical island of Eleuthera in an attempt to share with both the inhabitants of Eleuthera some of his artistic and creative skills. He is as well currently involved in promoting the island of Eleuthera on the world wide web where he maintains a website, www.tarpumbay.com, to which he makes daily posts of the current events occurring on the island of Eleuthera. The author is aware of the place Eleuthera holds in the hearts of their expatriate Eleutherians studying and living permanently abroad in all disciplines of study on all continents of the world. His attempt and major goal remains to in some positive manner further encourage the return of the unfortunate inhabitants of Eleuthera island who for some economic means had to flee the island in search of building the career they wished for. Hopefully some of this economic activity through the efforts of all those working in unison toward the effort of allowing a final homecoming for all those placed on the hearts of the islands present inhabitants. Mothers and daughters cry for mommy and daddy but they are not there. There is an ocean of seperation between us. We shall work harder to close that existing cultural gap; that obvious brain drain which is destroying us. The author George Major continues to work for these collective objectives in addition to his other civic duties. Other books written by George Majors include Romance, Kalik and Conch Salad, Blood on the Empire, and The Murder of Mrs. Caroline Clinch
