Born in Neustrelitz, Germany on December 14, 1998 Alena began her studies of English Literature + Culture and English Linguistics at Paderborn University at 19. She lost her father at a young age, struggling with depression ever since. Writing has proven the best therapy to help her through the hardships. She first tried a hand at poetry in late 2018. Turtles & Paperclips is her first publication.
