The research was developed during the school year 2009 - 2010, at the Polytechnic Institute "Mario Herrero Toscano" of Nuevitas. It is aimed at the training of teachers of the Civil Construction department for the direction of technical professional orientation. The author takes as a reference research and previous works carried out by outstanding pedagogues and normative documents of the Ministry of Education, as well as of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security that deal with training and professional orientation. The causes of the problem are determined, through different methods and techniques that made possible the diagnosis and characterization of the real situation of the current state of the results of the training process of departmental teachers. In order to contribute to the solution of the problem, the author proposes a system of actions. The practical significance of the research lies in the fact that it addresses for the first time the training of teachers of Civil Construction for the direction of technical professional guidance from the planning, execution and control of the proposed system of actions.
