Licenciado en Historia por la Universidad Estatal de Tver. Defendió su tesis doctoral sobre "El terrorismo como fenómeno social". Profesor asociado del Departamento de Filosofía y Psicología de la TSMU. Autor de artículos y libros sobre la historia de la universidad, redactor jefe del periódico universitario Academia, números de aniversario de las revistas y folletos de la universidad.
