Autorenporträt
Gerald Trites is a CPA with a history of writing and publishing and a unique background. He was a partner in KPMG for seventeen years, and a professor of accounting and information systems at St Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. He also served for twelve years as director of XBRL Canada. He has published twelve books and numerous articles and papers. He worked as a research associate for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and served as chair of the Auditing Standards Board. He currently serves as editor-in-chief of ThinkTWENTY20 magazine, a publication he started in 2019 with the objective of publishing well-researched articles of substance.
