Autorenporträt
Julianna Acheson is a Cultural Anthropologist who has taught at both colleges and universities for over twenty-five years and challenged thousands of students in the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia and from many other countries on how they think about love, relationships, conflict resolution and the importance of emotional health. Her courses taught on Sex and Gender and Love and Human Relationships were particularly helpful in providing insight for this book. Hailing from Portland, Maine, she is the mother of three daughters, a painter, and owner of the Coast Village Inn and Cottages on the beaches-coastline of southern Maine. She has worked on Humanitarian Evaluation and non-profit development for women in developing countries and her passion for helping others improve their own lives often contradicts conventional wisdom on how and why relationships are formed and why relationships are so important to all of us while we live on earth.
